I was asked this question, “What does a seahorse have to do with your business?”
“Nothing,” I replied. “It has to do with the people that I serve and work with.”
Seahorses are very intelligent, aware of their surroundings and quite the skillful predator. They just go about their business around the coral reefs until a big stressor hits or a bunch of little stressors have taken their toll. When the seas get rough, the seahorse locks in to the coral using its tail to maintain safety. Much like us, when the seahorse is stressed, it becomes aggressive and quite the ass.

For some of you, this has made perfect sense and you understand who you are and what strengths you have. You may have recently been a little too hard on yourself because you can’t quite figure out what to do now or what is best to do next. Of course, you are smart and good at your job; this just is not your area of expertise. Or, you may have been given a bad map to follow and nothing is working or even helping anymore.
Work smarter, not harder! We have all heard that phrase. Look, you only have so much energy every day so let’s use it productively. My job is to provide you with good science-based information, a doable plan of action and support while you move forward. I have been through this myself and it sucks, but it is manageable. What would your life look like if you were more effective, less stressed, and able to relax and enjoy your family a little?
